About the job
You will have the responsibility of shaping the product strategy for your specific product category and implementing the product assortment within that category. This role involves developing a collection that aligns with the company's strategic objectives and closely collaborating with the Sales, Planning, Marketing, retail, and E-commerce teams.
As a Merchandiser, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing seasonal strategies and merchandising plans.
- Presenting the product strategy and collection offerings to relevant markets and ensuring successful launches.
- Managing seasonal projections and pricing for fashion items and new launches.
- Collaborating with our Planning/Forecasting team on pre-market buying commitments and projections.
- Conducting research on product trends, competitors, market dynamics, and consumer preferences.
We are seeking an ideal candidate with the following qualifications:
- Prior work experience in fashion product merchandising or a related field, such as purchasing.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset, autonomy, and pro-activity.
- Experience working within a dynamic, international organization.
- Holds a degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in MS Excel, including reporting and handling substantial data sets, executing pivot analyses, as well as Word and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English.
