Your job as Technical Logistics Coordinator:
The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain key databases, ensure timely shipments and apply quality control to support the group realise successful sales and service targets, as well as delivering best-in-class customer service levels to support expansion and growth of the company’s services and products. You will be the first contact point for activities involving warehouse and transport vendors, to ensure full visibility and accountability of logistics and business relationships used for shipment of spare parts, sales goods and demonstration equipment for customer orders, loans, demonstrations, and trade shows. Your responsibilities include:
- Complete visual and inventory checks on all equipment returned from loan or demonstration.
- Maintain the business system booking tools to accurately reflect status of shipments and transport.
- Create and contribute to improvement of workflows and SOP's related to logistics.
- Coordinate all insurance claims related to lost or damaged inventory in transit.
- Escalate problems and outline possible future solutions to management level when issues occur such as incorrect shipments, lost materials, and damages.
- Participate in physical audits of the inventory and business assets at the storage location site.
- Prepare reports on status and trends for logistics as required.
- Own the transport and logistics coordination of all inbound and outbound movements/collections of inventories.
Your workplace:
We are looking for a positive and driven person with experience in asset management and logistics. You are part of the growing Healthcare business and you will work in close collaboration with Senior Management, Product Managers, Application & Technical Specialists, Marketing, Business Support, Branches and Distributors. This role requires a strong desire and attitude to deliver excellent customer communications and a high attention to details. You will be based in two locations, the Amstelveen office and the warehouse location site in Schiphol-Rijk.
What do you bring to the table?
This is an executive role. So we are looking for a proactive, hands-on and detail-oriented individual with:
- At least 3 years of experience with logistics, inventory and shipping administration, including import/export within the EMEA region.
- Strong proficiency in ERP and CRM systems.
- Knowledge or use of technical documentation or products.
- Capable of lifting/handling physical equipment (<20Kg).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of systematic and creative resolution approaches.
- Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- A valid driver’s license and preferably own a car.
